Buffalo, NY art dealers Toneyboi & Gaine$ bring us to the “Group Home” on new single. Produced by Toneyboi in his signature tones of electronic swag with boom-bap grit, the track has the biological brother emcees and guest Rochester, NY’s Brad Piff dropping that upstate reality rap.
This is the first leak from the forthcoming Project 77 to drop on July 7 which will be swiftly followed by two additional installments Project 88 (to drop 8/8/21) and Project 99 to drop on, you guessed it 9/9/21).
Toneyboi’s last solo release was last year’s Quality Costs EP fully produced by his day-one Camouflage Monk (Westside Gunn, Mach Hommy), though he has been keeping plenty busy. Other recent credits include being the in-house sound engineer for Conway The Machine’s DrumWork Label and hosting the Outside Influence video program on youtube that has in-depth convos and looks at legends and future legends from the Buffalo scene.
