The Suspect Allegedly makes his SpitFireHipHop debut with “You Can’t Kill Me, I’m Already Dead.”
Hating your job is a common denominator across all races, creeds, and age groups. Having felt dead inside for a while now due to the daily grind, The Suspect Allegedly knew he had to address the fugue-like state he’s been living in. Over crisp drums and an airy vocal loop provided by Canadian beatmason Vic Grimes, Sus laments his occupational hell on “You Can’t Kill Me, I’m Already Dead.”
As he puts it, “I really want this to resonate with people who hate their job but can’t quit and have something else that really gives them life.” The track was inspired by the “pod people” concept from the cult classic “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” and the crude humor of animated phenom “Rick & Morty,” so it should satisfy fans of Sus’ trademark sci-fi raps.
