The Rebel Kings say it’s “Situation Lit” on new single. Out now via DSP’s this is the first leak from Rebel Kings, the collaborative project from legendary lyricist Tragedy Khadafi and boom-bap production lord Endemic Emerald.
The project will drop on December 1st via No Cure Records / Fat Beats on CD, Cassette, Vinyl, and digital formats (pre-order link and single stream link below). In addition to the street-scientific and socio-political bars backed with grimy beats, the album guests include DJ Eclipse, DJ Akil, Kasim Allah & Foul Monday.
Initially meeting at the infamous Goblin Studios in Queens, NY over a decade ago, Tragedy and Endemic have linked on several tracks over the years. The chemistry is potent, and the result is a reminder of that golden age sound.
