Bay Area emcee J.Lately teams up with Indianapolis hometown hero Mark Battles to deliver this new alt Hip-Hop single ‘Water’. This is the sixth single from Lately following his 2023 album ‘Brunch’, which included features from The Grouch & Eligh (of the iconic Hip-Hop group Living Legends), callmestevieray, James Begin (of Tropidelic), and more.
Mark Battles has been featured on MTV and MTVu, as well as landing two albums in the top 25 of Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart, and has collaborated with artists like Kid Cudi, Kevin Gates, French Montana, and Wale. Last fall Lately completed a 13 date tour across the United States supporting fellow Bay Area emcee Locksmith.
He has upcoming shows supporting Devin The Dude and DJ Abilities, as well as a headlining show in Seattle on May 10th. Mark Battles has an upcoming 16 date headlining tour during the spring.
