Kendrick Lamar’s North American The Damn. Tour will kick off in Phoenix.  Travis Scott and DRAM are officially on board.
At this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Kendrick Lamar debuted songs from his fourth studio album, DAMN. Originally from Compton, California, Lamar also had the honor of closing the music festival’s second weekend.
His fourth album landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.  This marks the third time the singer has reached the top spot. Billboard reports that Lamar moved 603,000 ‘album equivalent’ units, making DAMN the biggest release thus far in 2017.  Critics have also praised the rapper’s latest album.
However, in Kendrick Lamar’s opinion, the best review came from his mom, who wrote,
“OMG. This cd is bombbbbbb! You should of put me and your daddy on this one too j/k. This your best one to me, no bull…â€
But wait: there’s more.  Kendrick Lamar has just announced his North American tour.  Even better, Travis Scott and DRAM will join the rapper as they tour across North America.  Both will appear at every performance.
The 17-date tour will begin on July 12th in Phoenix, Arizona and will conclude in the rapper’s hometown of Los Angeles on August 6th.  In between, he’ll make stops in Houston, Washington, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Brooklyn, Detroit, and other cities.
