Back to school can be a hectic time as families transition from summer into the routine of making sure their kids are fully equipped for a successful school year. To take a load off of families and provide some motivation to jump start the school year, Houston-based R&B Singer Lah Pat, sponsored dinner to guests and families that dined at The Greasy Spoon Soulfood Bistro. Lah Pat not only sponsored meals, he became an employee for a day at The Greasy Spoon.

He was greeted earlier in the day by The Greasy Spoon’s owner, Max Bozeman II, where he was provided a uniform, went through staff training, met his co-workers, learned some of the company’s business policies to assure guests received the full experience.

Guests started arriving at 4:00PM and were immediately greeted with “Welcome To The Greasy Spoon, I’m Lah Pat, how can I serve you today”. From there, they had the option of selecting from 3 menu items that included The Kamikaze Catfish meal, Lah Pat Pork Chops, and Rodeo Stuffed Turkey Leg. The Kamikaze Catfish meal quickly became a favorite as “Kamikaze” that’s also the name of Lah Pat’s new single.

As a successful Billboard Chart Topping Artist, Lah Pat plans to continue to not only make his mark within the music industry but continue to serve the Houston community in many ways.
