Clear Label Media Group (run by Tajai of Hiero/Souls Of Mischief) has announced they will take over management services for the legendary Breakbeat Lou. Hailing from the Bronx, Breakbeat Lou is forever etched in hip-hop history for co-creating the Ultimate Breaks And Beats series.
Along with his partner Lenny Roberts the duo released twenty-five compilation albums in the 1980’s of rare or unknown breaks (including many edited in new forms). These compilations armed many of your favorite DJ’s and producers (Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, Just Blaze) with the raw materials to make many classic tracks. In addition, Breakbeat Lou himself is known as a party-rocker supreme who performs DJ sets worldwide.
For the past six years he has been holding down the decks as the tour DJ for Souls Of Mischief. This includes 125 shows around the world in 2023 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the seminal 93 ‘til Infinity album.
