$uicideboy$ explore "The Thin Grey Line" from New World Depression out June 14th

New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ share a compelling exploration of excess and contradictions with their latest track, “The Thin Grey Line,” from their upcoming album, New World Depression. The album will be released through G*59 Record$ on June 14. With a hard-hitting bassline, the lyrics reflect internal conflicts and the artists’ rise in the underground scene, touching on substance abuse, violence, and a profound sense of existential angst.

The lead single from New World Depression, titled “Us Vs Them,” jumped into the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of April 30th. The song navigates themes of fame, self-destruction, and the relentless search for identity. It has already garnered 35 million streams on Spotify and secured placements on Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday, Tirade, Alternative Hip-Hop, and many others.

This summer, rap cousins Ruby da Cherry and $crim will celebrate the release of their 4th full-length album and embark on Grey Day 2024, an arena and amphitheater tour across North America with support from Denzel Curry, Pouya, Shakewell, HAARPER, and Ekkstacy. The annual Grey Day Tour, since its inception in 2019, has emerged as a standout and one of the biggest summer tours to unite rap, punk, and hardcore genres, while also serving as a launching pad and first national tours for many critically acclaimed artists. This year, the tour partnered with PLUS1 to help support mental health by donating $1 from every ticket sold. Below is the complete list of tour dates with supporting acts in each city. Link to purchase tickets is HERE.

Throughout the 13-track release of New World Depression, the duo’s raw, unfiltered lyrics serve as an honest narrative and the struggle for authenticity in a world that often feels cold and indifferent. This album is an unapologetic exploration of the darker sides of human experience, resonating with anyone who has ever felt out of place or battled with their own shadows. All three of their full-length albums have debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. This fourth album will commemorate the 10th anniversary since the formation of $uicideboy$.
