Mod Sun debuts on SpitFireHipHop with this “Shoot Em Down” video.
After a steady string of EP’s, singles and mixtapes (where he collaborated with artists like Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul & Nipsey Hussle), Mod Sun released his debut album, Look Up, in March of 2015 via Rostrum Records (Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller) and immediately hit #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers album chart. Look Up featured collaborations with G-Eazy (who Mod is now touring with—Mod spent last summer on the Vans Warped Tour), Travis Barker, Dizzy Wright, Jody Highroller, Blackbear and MGK.
Mod Sun returns with the latest visual from Look Up, the MGK & Blackbear assisted “Shoot Em Down†and it’s only right they reconnect, as Mod directed MGK’s “Sail†video which now has over 30 million plays on Youtube. Mod Sun is currently working on his second album and he promises it will be his best project to date; “I’m working everyday on my second album and creating with some of the best producers on the planet. I’m working my ass off everyday to deliver the best Mod Sun rap album.â€
