Some think of Ish Smith and only see a player on an NBA team with the worst record in the league. When I think of Ish Smith I think of a person who rises to the occasion in every facet of life. I think of a person who has not only assisted to make every game the Sixers now play competitive (since his return to Philly this year), I also see a young man who persevered to solidify his role as one of the best true point guards in the NBA, period. Here’s a hometown hero out of Concord, NC, who excelled in college at an elite ACC university, and goes undrafted in 2010.
