Today, Futa is releasing a new single “Aware/Fate Lies,” off of his latest album O.W.E., available on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.
Critics and fans are calling the Arkansas native a breathe of fresh air in lieu of raps current climate. “Aware/Fate Lies,” sounds like Futa is possessed by the spirit of raps greatest MC’s, mixing incredible rhyme patterns with stories about the choices life has to offer. In addition to the track, the visual, directed by Jaye White, makes “Aware/Fate Lies,” even more potent. Coming from a city of poverty, Futa uses his rhymes to escape the struggles around him, while giving his fans a glimpse of life in Arkansas.
