Pearl Gates connects with  Masta Ace and Ali De Leon for “The Ritual” video.
Watch the new music video for ”The Ritual” by Pearl Gates featuring Masta Ace and Ali De Leon taken from the ”Diamond Mind” EP. The song was produced by Kic Beats, video directed by Damijin’ Myndz!.
Pearl Gates: “The Ritual embodies the customary practice we undergo as artists, from cutting records in the studio to the release and performance of those records. This particular song is an invitation into my process”.
The record came together when Pearl Gates was on tour in Europe opening for Masta Ace. Gates and eMC previously worked together on eMC’s “The Tonite Show” album on the song “Fly Thoughts”. Gates also says ”with “The Ritual” I just wanted to invite the listener into the room to see the progression firsthand, and luckily for me once Ace heard the record he wanted to be apart of it”.
