Bishop Nehru releases his new video for “Midnight Reflecting”.
In 2013, Bishop released his critically-acclaimed debut mixtape, Nehruvia, (which featured collaborations with hip-hop’s finest producers including the likes of Madlib & DJ Premier). Three years later, the most exciting new voice in hip-hop continues to establish himself as an artist far beyond his years. After sharing two-singles from the project, “$acred Visions†& “It’s Whateva,†NYC-based hip-hop prodigy, Bishop Nehru, recently released his long-awaited Magic 19 mixtape; which will precede his debut album, which will be released later this year.
Today, Bishop premiered his new visual, “Midnight Reflecting,†exclusively at XXL. “The song was pretty much inspired by the venting process that helps me create my music†Bishop told XXL. “A lot of it was based on how I reflect on things that run through my mind and try to find a way to express them. The Magic 19 project was a lot of expression and a lot of different perspectives. This is one of them and for the rest of 2016 that’s what I hope to do; show my evolution as an artist and discuss many perspectives on different topics.â€
