Legendary Milwaukee Hip-Hop Group Rusty Pelicans releases new visuals for 20 year reunion album.
Rusty Pelicans are a Milwaukee-based hip-hop group who’ve played an instrumental role in the Midwest’s underground music scene. For over two decades, they’ve toured, recorded, and performed with the likes of The Pharcyde, Run DMC, Eminem, The Roots, Black Eyed Peas, Jurassic 5 and Atmosphere to name a few.
In advance of their upcoming album, Apartment 7, Rusty Pelicans are unveiling the gorgeously lit visuals for their single, “We Likeâ€. A beautiful summer day sets the backdrop for the Pelicans to enjoy some music and party vibes with friends. “We Like†finds the Pelicans transitioning in and out of a dream sequence all while trying to make a lasting impression on their collective muse; hip-hop, who appears as a metaphor in the form of Margaret Butler of the seminal Milwaukee Pop outfit, GGOOLLDD.
