DJ Premier releases visual for ‘My Space Baby’ which features Cherub.
DJ Premier isn’t happy unless he has multiple fires on the oven. Alongside scoring and serving as executive music producer for the hit series, The Breaks, executive producing (and producing four tracks) MC Eiht’s forthcoming Which Way Iz West album, dropping a new hit single, “2 LOVIN U,†with Miguel and announcing that he will be departing on a 16-city tour with his The BADDER Band starting 5-31-17, he’s doing all of this while finalizing the mixing on PRhyme’s (his collaborative union with Royce 5’9â€) sophomore project and the upcoming NYG’z LP (which he produced in its entirety). And he just put the finishing touches on Torii Wolf’s debut album Flow Riiot; those are just the things we can announce.
Today, via an exclusive premiere with Billboard, Premier releases a new single, ‘My Space Baby,’ with Nashville’s electro-indie duo Cherub (Jordan Kelley & Jason Huber) via his new imprint TTT (To The Top) and it is now available worldwide. With ‘My Space Baby’ Preem continues to flaunt his diversity and an innate ability to commingle his uniquely distinct rhythms to artists of any genre. Cherub’s hit song “Doses and Mimosas†from their debut studio album, Year of the Caprese, was recently RIAA certified Gold and they released their latest album, Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence, this past fall via Columbia Records. The first single from that project, ‘Signs,’ featured T.I. and was premiered via Billboard.com.
