Ro3lay (pronounced Roe-lay) is a San Francisco born and raised Filipino American MC. Combining street narratives and a style that pays homage to both the golden era and new school era of rap, Ro is a versatile spitter that keeps your head spinning. Growing up in the Bay Area, Ro has witnessed numerous political movements that have directly influenced his music. Shaped by the bold activism of the Black Panther Party, Philip Vera Cruz, and more recently, the Frisco 5, he utilizes his music as a platform to speak on social issues that affect the lives of everyday people.
Sharing stages with Bay Area giants such as Equipto, Hugh E Mc, Dregs One, and Bambu, RO leaves a deep impression on the Bay Area rap game as a definite great. Currently, Ro3lay is working on his forthcoming album, Native Immigrant, produced in its entirety by San Francisco producer Mister REY, and is set to release later this Summer.
