Mankind makes their debut on SpitFireHipHop with their ‘Thundercats’ visual featuring SupaNova.
Mankind is a Harlem based Hip Hop duo from the New Rap Order Collective, consisting of Nathaniel !LLumiN@TE Gasque and Brian SciryL Henry. Their group name is inspired by the 3 personas of Mick Foley: Mankind (Balance) ,Dude Love (yin) and Cactus Jack (yang) which complement each other with seemingly polar opposite styles, flows, and personalities that are independent yet interconnected. With 10 projects under their belt since 2015, Mankind is in constant pursuit of Unapologetic Black Excellence, striving to create art that is both true and living, and capable of evolving over time.
The LAVA single and video (below) ‘Thundercats‘ featuring SupaNova is a picture perfect example of Mankind’s lyrical and sonic fitness as they drop a plethora of witty bars over DJH2’s bionic production. Also, equally as nice is the dope b-side ‘Tinkerbell’. Mankind is more than music. It’s a way of Life. It’s a Community. It’s collective healing through creation.
