J.Lately begins the new year with this ‘On It’ visual.
Northern California emcee J.Lately delivers the music video for his track “On It“, off the recently released Be Fucking Happy album. The video, starring Thai Cromer, finds her in an auditorium where she loses herself in a moment in time, letting the music and emotions flow freely through her movement. Lately states, “I wanted to present this video in a way that would focus on the feelings expressed in the song, as opposed to focusing on me rapping the lyrics. I thought one cool way to do that was to completely remove myself from the video, and instead direct our attention to a different subject who is losing herself in the same feelings that I felt when creating this song.”
It’s co-directed by Thai Cromer and Al G Sillah, with edits by Shooter Reel, and production by Space Cadet. J.Lately’s ‘Be Fucking Happy‘ album is available everywhere for streaming and download.
