The duo that is PRhyme, DJ Premier and Royce 5’9″ release their new video for ‘Rock It’.

PRhyme, the collaborative project of DJ Premier and Royce 5’9”, will drop their highly anticipated album PRhyme 2 on March 16 via PRhyme Records. The duo recently revealed the full tracklist including features from 2Chainz, Big K.R.I.T., Rapsody, Yelawolf, Cee-Lo, Roc Marciano (among others) and Dave East who guests on the previously released single “ERA” called “hypnotic” by Rolling Stone.

The beauty of PRhyme comes from its sample source: Premier chooses only one artist to flip their sound into his signature soul-infused beats and dusty drum grooves. PRhyme’s debut self-titled album featured compositions from producer and composer Adrian Younge and high caliber features from Black Thought, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, Common, Jay Electronica, Schoolboy Q, and Killer Mike. Rolling Stone called it one of the Best Rap Albums of 2014 and XXL praised it as “a re-energized and reborn sound.” This time around, Premier tapped Philadelphia composer and producer Antman Wonder to provide original music for Royce and Premier to sample.
