Just John and Dom Dias debut on SpitFireHipHop with ‘Tango Town’ video featuring DillanPonders.

The concept of a “Toronto Sound” is something often debated by resident hip-hop fans. What sounds like Toronto? Who speaks for the city? People often cite the melodic wave inspired by OVO, the dark auto-tuned feel coming from XO, or the trap inspired anthems found on pages like 6ixBuzz.

Just John, Dom Dias and DillanPonders don’t fit neatly into any of these boxes. Their punk DIY approach casts them in left field, where they’ve created a new sound for a new city, “Tango Town.”
