Markee Steele drops off the new visual for “Rookie & A Veteran.”
Rapper Markee Steele’s fourteen years of hard-fought success has brought him a long way in his career. His music has been featured as theme music for ESPN’s flagship TV shows “First Take” and “Sports Center,” in addition to receiving critical praise, yet the North Carolinian is still considered a new artist to many people.
The feeling of being a seasoned veteran with so much more to experience and accomplish is expressed poignantly on Steele’s latest EP Vet & A Rook. The conceptual seven-track project kicked off the new year, releasing on all digital streaming platforms on January 6, 2021 via Steele’s own Marquee Recordings imprint.
Today (1/28/2021), StupidDOPE exclusively premiered the official self-directed music video for the EP’s first track, “Rookie & A Veteran.”
