Cee joins us today with a warning in his “Stay Woke” video.
The next phase in “Relentless” kicks off this week, with not only an audio drop but the first visual from the project. Shot, directed and edited by the legend “King” Richard Bastarache, the “Stay Woke” video takes it back to the ’30s with The Relentless Times, transporting Cee to the present with aggressive and energetic performance scenes, perspective shots and cameos from Dahn “The Flag Bearer” Johnson-Sim and Jonathan Emile.
“Stay Woke” is the second single from Cee’s sophomore album “Relentless”. A piano and guitar-driven, boom bap neck snapper, Cee speaks his truth about the state of the world, politics and Hip Hop on this energetic cut. With all live instruments, including guitar by Jon Rosner and violin by Mike Tompa, this is one of Cee’s most ambitious releases to date.
