Eternia & Rel McCoy Raise Their Hands In “Praise” Video

Eternia & Rel McCoy - Praise

Eternia and Rel McCoy give thanks in this new “Praise” video.

Take a journey to the natural beauty of Barbados with Eternia for her new video, “Praise,” an uplifting single off her upcoming album FREE with producer Rel McCoy.

The lyrically gifted emcee stars in these visuals that were filmed on location at River Bay in St. Lucy, Barbados by Andre Leacock of Scenes Entourage Productions. And it all actually came together exceptionally quickly—in just five days—as Eternia had just discovered she was pregnant. “I panicked and was like, ‘I need to shoot visuals for this album, NOW,’” she says while laughing.

She saw Barbados as the perfect setting for the track because she says it felt like the only song off FREE that fit the beautiful, natural surroundings of her trip to the island nation. She’s right, of course, considering that “Praise” is about one’s awe and gratefulness to God for the beauty and blessings in life, even amidst the storms and the mountains we all climb. Like she says on the track: “Those who dance in the rain experience the sweetest gift in this life / I’m amazed when I write / this ain’t like those other songs, aight? I came to Praise!”

Check out the visuals and head over to your preferred digital retailer or streaming platform to support. FREE is available now for pre-order and officially drops Sept 24 on DSPs and vinyl via Fat Beats.
