Y.N.X.716 returns with the new “SOLID GOLD SOUL/ HISTORY” visual.
Rising Buffalo emcee Y.N.X.716 has dropped a new two-fer video (posted by Paper Chase Dot Com) combining tracks “History” with “Solid Gold Soul.” For the “History” portion the street-scholar drives through his city dropping deep jewels to a vintage sounding 90’s soundscape. Fading into the “Solid Gold Soul” portion it’s straight soul-loop instrumental as Y.N.X shows us the opulent side of his personality.
Speaking on the drop Y.N.X.716 said “I’m working on a double album. The first part is called Oldies (which “Solid Gold Soul” is taken from) and is sampled from classic soul tracks. The second part (which “History” will appear on) is Live from the 90’s and the project as a whole represents the evolution of hip-hop.
Over the past several years Y.N.X.716 has been making moves well past the geographical borders of upstate NY, this includes recent tracks alongside Kool G Rap, Conway The Machine, Jae Skeese, ETO, Daniel Son, 38 Spesh and El Camino as well as a full project with Italian production team, ManZu Beatz.
