Kristen Che’Rei is making them “Mad” all the way from Houston’s Eastside.
Houston’s indie music is rapidly growing, and every day a new talented artist emerges from the grounds of this Bayou City. One artist we all should be on the lookout for is Eastside native Kristen Che’Rei. Why? Because she’s upsetting a lot of people with her new single “Mad.”
In the comical video directed by Lotus Vision Films, KC, also known as the Queen Heathen, starts her day pissing her haters off by simply posting a picture getting out of bed. As she raps her catchy, anthem-style hook, “mad, these hoes be so f***ing mad.” That might have slightly pissed people, but I know for sure when she went to take a No.2 in the video, that did it to them. In my eyes, she’s s***ing on her haters, but her hatters might oppose that idea.
KC is a super talented, hardworking femcee. Before she began making people “Mad,” she was getting people high, and her previous song “Stoney” received best female artist nominations from the 4th Annual Down For The Underground Awards. In addition to that, she also won a Lil Kim Black History award.
