PIFF and ManZu Beatz join us today with this new “Ninja Please” video.
Italian beat-bruisers ManZu Beatz have returned with new video/single paired with Bull City, NC word-smith PIFF (aka Pennywise Jr). “Ninja Please” (Premiering via Weekly Rap Gods) combines the moody cinematic grit that ManZu revels in with PIFF’s gifts as a verbal storyteller. Speaking on the track PIFF commented “when I hear people saying the culture of hip-hop is dying, my response is ninja please.”
With this video/track premiere is the announcement of a collaborative project between the two entitled The Assassination (cover artwork below) to drop on December 2nd. As you can see from the image, the duo mean business and potent doses of boom-bap artillery will commence. Guests on the album include T. Merciless, Indigo Phoenyx, B –Maculate, Irie-1 and M Doc Diego.
Actively recording for the past decade, PIFF has been putting down graphic and lyrically verbose projects consistently. His visibility online brought him to the attention of DBTZ of ManZu who reached out to work on some music together. The Assassination came together within two months.
This project comes on the heels of DBTZ’s 3 Kingz collaborative album with Rochester, NY spitters M Doc Diego and Crotona P.
