Jerrod Bowen releases new “Sound Odyssey” visual featuring Keylow and Physical Graffiti.
Maryland emcee and Creative Minds founder Jerrod Bowen presents the Unscene productions-directed music video for “Sound Odyssey,” the Keylow and Physical Graffiti guested lead single from Bowen’s new album Thelonious, named after the jazz pianist Thelonious Monk.
Thelonious also features guest appearances from Mr. Ruckus, Crown Vic, and Klassic Soul, all representing the Creative Minds brand. The entire album is produced by Washington, D.C. beatsmith K-Murdock, who fuses golden-era sounds with live instrumentation.
Murdock also produced Bowen’s debut album Days Of Grace (Spotify). “Sound Odyssey” is named after a record store in Bowen’s hometown of Ocean City and interpolates the jazz classic “Summertime,” as the lead single of an album filled with nods to the golden era of hip-hop which K-Murdock calls “a labor of love.” Thelonious is out now on Creative Minds LLC.
