Mitchy Slick and Sir Veterano share their new “Dago Nights” video featuring Bosko.
Southeast San Diego, CA rapper Mitchy Slick presents the Yellow Nguyen-directed music video for “Dago Nights,” his new collaboration with Central Valley, CA producer Sir Veterano. Also featuring a hook from “Talkbox King” Bosko, “Dago Nights’ appears on Mitchy & Vet’s forthcoming collab album Everybody Hates Mitch which features first single “In My El Co” as well as appearances from E-40, Jay Worthy, Silky Slim, Ise B, and 2die4. San Diego rap stalwart Mitchy is CEO of Wrongkind Records, a familial collective of rappers, deejays and artists. Mitchy is a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, along with rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. In 2021 Mitchy released 23 Blocks.
In the past he’s collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and The Game, whose Documentary 2.5 featured three guest shots from Mitchy. In 2021 Sir Veterano released The Gathering, featuring MC Eiht and Ras Kass, which was followed up by All Hail The King, his collab album with Fresno, CA emcee Fashawn. Sir Veterano is the premier producer on the roster of Fresh Yard Records, helmed by Vet’s music manager, Walt Liquor, and Kwa Nguyen, also owner of Fresh Yard Clothing. Everybody Hates Mitch is inspired by the 80’s West Coast cocaine rap era.
