Young Sleep connects with Mickey Factz in “Higher Learning” video.
Rochester, New York’s Young Sleep links up with Bronx spitter Mickey Factz for “Higher Learning.” The video (Directed by Trav Simmons and shot in location in Brooklyn) shows the duo dropping spiritual bars over a soulful beat.
“Higher Learning” was produced by fellow upstate resident Jimmy Dukes, who is known for his extensive work with 38 Spesh. Speaking on the link-up with Factz, Sleep relayed “I had a show in Orlando with him last year and we built on doing a track together at some point. My bro/business partner ID Rich heard the Dukes beat and immediately thought it was a perfect joint for me and Factz to connect on.”
“Higher Learning” is another leak from the forthcoming 3rd installment of the Sleep City mix series to materialize in the near future. Several other joints from Young Sleep featuring such legends as Beanie Sigel, Dark Lo, Ransom and Nature have also been leaked recently and may appear on the project as well.
The emcee also reveals that he has collaborations on the way with the legendary Royal Flush, top-tier battle rapper DNA and an EP with an underground legend from his hometown.
