Steven Malcolm is moving fast in new “Cardio” video.
IVAV/Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist Steven Malcolm debuts the official music video for “Cardio.” The music video follows the September 15 audio release and will appear on Malcolm’s forthcoming studio LP.
Malcolm ramps things up with the “Cardio” music video. “I wanted to make an anthem I would have listened to in the high school locker room before a big game,” shares Malcolm. “This song is all about owning the greatness that results from hard work and dedication. We all have a race to run. To be great and keep keeping on takes two things: a little inspiration and cardio!”
The visual encapsulates Malcolm’s favorite things: Christ, dance, exercise, fashion, and fellowship. Malcolm’s swift flows are as vibrant as his drip as cameras capture the 7x GMA Dove Award nominee flexing his undeniable star power. “Been running this thing like cardio,” asserts Malcolm in the video. His pizazz legitimizes his aim of becoming CHH’s next crossover MC.
Poised for release in early 2024, the Michigan native’s next studio LP is the highly anticipated follow-up to his familial 16-track project, Tree, which recently received a 2023 GMA Dove Award nomination in the Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year category. The nod marks Malcolm’s seventh career Dove Award nomination. Winners for the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be announced publicly on October 20, 2023, during an exclusive broadcast on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
