Rochester and Detroit link-up! Producer Kidd Called Quest has dropped visuals today for new single “D Boy.” Rugged motivational music, the boom-bap bang-up features Midwest spitter 2100 Bagz. Filmed in the D (by Phresh Vision) the track is a testament to a life of non-stop hustle.
Linking up earlier this year, Kidd Called Quest has confirmed that this is the first in a series of tracks that he and Bagz have been working on. This is the latest in a series of dope releases from Kidd Called Quest who recently dropped an instrumental project Sounds Of The Track which was meant as an unofficial soundtrack to 1975 Blaxploitation classic The Candy Tangerine Man.
He also fully produced The Kendrick Cole EP with St. Paul, MN emcee Ken-C, as well as producer compilation album On The Beat and new singles with Pretty Bulli and Young Black And Gifted.
