OBN Jay releases two singles in “Green Beam” and “It’s Up With Me.”
Baton Rouge rapper OBN Jay is back with two new singles. The 20-year old artist has accumulated 250 million streams across his catalog in 2 short years, and is poised to be make a huge impact. “Green Beam” and “It’s Up With Me” will be housed on his EP “Loading” due out May 21st, which is a precursor to his studio album “Activation Complete” due out later this year.
“Originally we were only supposed to release “Green Beam” today, with the accompanying HV3 & David G directed music video. But on Sunday he teased “It’s Up With Me” on his IG Reels to test it out, as he recorded it earlier in the day. But it grew legs of its own amassing 100k+ views in the first few hours, and over 650k+ total views this week on Reels for the 15 second clip, even Dej Loaf showing support for it in his comments. From there fans started submitting their own versions of the dance in his DM’s which we started reposting on his page.”
