Rusty Pelicans return with their “We Like” Mammyth rmx.

Rusty Pelicans are back in full force after reassembling to celebrate their 20th Anniversary in 2015 and have not let up since. The “We Like” remix is the latest in a string of singles the group has been releasing to build awareness of their full length album, Apartment 7 due September, 2016. Produced by Mammyth, the remix visits the EDM realm, a territory not often occupied by hip-hop groups and is perhaps most indicative of early Jungle Brothers vibes. A complete re-hash of the original, the “We Like” Remix is dripping with electro-funk character. It’s not the norm, but that’s what sets it apart from the rest.
