60 East & Elzhi On A Crash Course On ‘Wet Roads’

60 East & Elzhi - Wet Roads

60 East and Elzhi drop off their new single titled “Wet Roads.”

Wet Roads” is a collaboration between Grammy-winning artist/producer Evidence, known for his role in the legendary hip-hop group Dilated Peoples, and 60 East, the artist/founder of The Happiness of Pursuit Festival. Their partnership began when 60 East opened for Evidence during his Odd Weather Tour, leading to joint music endeavors.

“Wet Roads” is the result of their creative sessions and also includes former Slum Village member Elzhi, widely recognized as one of the greatest lyricists of all time. The song is also mastered by legendary engineer Eddie Sancho, whose credits include Nas’s “Illmatic,” The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Ready to Die,” and Jay-Z’s “Reasonable Doubt.”

Notably, 60 East, fresh from releasing his “At The Sideshow” EP with collaborator A-F-R-O, has recently unveiled the lineup for his 6th annual Happiness of Pursuit Festival, scheduled for October 7th in his hometown of Ontario, California. The festival will feature artists such as Juelz Santana, Immortal Technique, Pharoahe Monch, and many more. For additional festival details, please visit www.THOPFest.net.
