Bounce TV, the popular broadcast and multi-platform entertainment network dedicated to authentic portrayals of Black life, is teaming up with Sixthman, the leader in festivals and music cruises for more than two decades, for the first-ever Bounce TV Legacy Cruise, which sets sail Jan. 13-17, 2024, from Miami, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas, aboard Norwegian Pearl.
All pre-sale signups conclude Monday, June 26, at 11:59 pm (ET). Public sales will follow on Wednesday, June 28, at 2pm (ET), exclusively at bouncetvcruise.com.
The cruise will be a celebration of Black excellence, with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to mix with celebrities, notables from the Black community, and your favorite Bounce TV stars.
The Bounce TV Legacy Cruise will feature live musical performances, comedy shows, an all-star Gospel Brunch, epic white party, and a host of other special activities. Highlights to include the taping of the 31st annual Bounce Trumpet Awards, a star-studded event that honors the accomplishments of Black humanitarians. The cruise will also feature comedy performances by Cedric The Entertainer and Friends. Special guests on board will include the cast of Bounce’s hit show Johnson – Deji LaRay, Thomas Q. Jones, Philip A. Smithey, and Derrex Brady.
Musical performances on board will include a sail away performance by funk royalty Morris Day and The Time. There will also be nightly musical performances by BJ the Chicago Kid, Lady Bri, Jac Ross, Baby Rose, with many more to be announced.
The Bounce TV Legacy Cruise will also feature an appearance by special guest Ms. Xernona Clayton, civil rights icon and founder of the Trumpet Awards, as well as the 2024 Trumpet Awards honorees. The 2024 Trumpet Awards will be produced in partnership with Eric C. Rhone and Cedric The Entertainer’s A Bird & A Bear Entertainment, with Rhone serving as co-producer. Exclusive panels, autograph sessions, themed parties, and wellness events (from morning meditation sessions and yoga to hosted exercise classes) will round out the cruise experience.
Bounce TV Legacy cruisers will enjoy the incredible amenities available aboard the Norwegian Pearl, including fully stocked bars, tasty dining options, the Pool Deck (with multiple hot tubs), the Pearl Club Casino, Mandara Spa, Body Waves Fitness Center, Sports Court and much more.
