Substance Abuse ft. Aceyalone – Bridges (North Street Remixes)

Substance Abuse releases ‘Bridges’ North Street Remixes. featuring Aceyalone.

Ramrock Red Records is proud to present the forthcoming single ‘Bridges’ as a vinyl 7” and 2 x Remix EP package from L.A. hip hop duo Substance Abuse aka Eso Tre and Subz. ‘Bridges’ features Aceyalone, founding member of legendary Freestyle Fellowship, a collective who brought an improvisational focus to the Los Angeles underground hip-hop scene in the 1990s.

Eso says “Subz came up with the idea for ‘Bridges’ because he felt we needed to do a song about unity in these increasingly divisive times we live in. Our goal was to create a track that was jazzy, positive, and upbeat but with a message that the modern audiences could relate to, following on in the tradition of our heroes ‘The Native Tongues’. To deliver that message, we couldn’t think of a better MC than Aceyalone to bring on board. He has a special talent for creating dope songs built off of a single metaphor and he completes our vision.”
